WAP, WML Help
Has anyone got any tips about WML, do i have to make two copies of my index page, one in html for standard internet user and one as a index.wml file.
Will the mobile phone automatically look for the index.wml file when i type in my site address? |

yup
Indeedy, different files (wml) for different browsing. For instance (as I discovered through various trials) you can get at your catalyst2 pop mail through WAP (v 2.0 required)! Just go to http://mail.mydomain.com/mail/wap/ and you should find it. To experiment without spending a bomb and fiddling endlessly use a wap emulator, I tried
http://www.digitalairways.com/wapaka...kaOverview.asp yesterday and that was quite fun. Just got a new mobile and wanted to make sure I could get email through wap. As far as I remember WML is very much like HTML just a lot simpler and you want to keep file size right down. Have a look at http://www.wap-shareware.com/ for some free software to make WML pages. Have fun. Rich
