Maximum execution time
I don't know if this is a problem with phpBB or Catalyst so if anyone can assist I would appreciate it.
For the past 3 versions of phpBB (including the latest 2.0.20) I have been unable to delete more than one post at a time without getting a 'time-out' error. Quote:

Any suggestions? Please.

Have you checked this out of the phpbb support forums?

I've tried that a couple of times.
First time (a week or so ago) the search freezes, second time (yesterday) it gave me page one of hundreds and then wouldn't go to the next page. Also, I can't get it to search on more than one word, even though there is facility to do this. ![]() I've tried searching on all the relevant words 'maximum', 'execution' etc. I've gone through hundreds of pages (in date order) trying to find something similar to my problem without result. The only thing I haven't done is submit a querry but I notice a lot of querries go unanswered. If I knew for certain it was phpBB at fault and not some setting at Catalyst I could persevere with that line.

Forgot to mention:
This is a default setup of phpBB, i.e. there are no midifications. In the process up upgrading, both those files mentioned in the errors have been replaced.

File : msaccess.php Code:
$this->result = odbc_exec($this->db_connect_id, $query); File : usercp_register.php Code:
if ( !($result = $db->sql_query($sql, BEGIN_TRANSACTION)) )

I still don't know where I should be looking to try and solve this so I have also asked the same question on the phpBB forum.
