Database Filesize

Hi.

I have recently split one MS Access database into two by copying it and then stripping out the tables that I don't want in each respective database. The problem is that I now have two databases that are each as large as the first one.

Is there a was of reclaiming this filesize?

I've heard talk of the 'Vacuum' command. Would this work in Access and if so how should I employ it?

Im pretty sure there is a compact command, and you can download programs that will do this for you as well.
