hosting .co.uk and .com domains

Helloooo

Just a quickie for those in the know. I don't fancy maintaining 2 domains when they both use the same content. How do I go about pointing both domains to the same location?

Once both domains are pointing to the same place would I then be able to use the space for another domain?

Cheers, Andi

What is need is a domain alias. It works like this:

You put all your content and code onto xyz.com then you setup abc.com as the domain alias. Anyone who vists abc.com just sees what is on xyz.com .

Not entirely clear what you mean. What do you want to do?

Jacob

I assume you are assuming to have a domain alias you will have to buy another package. This is not the case. If you package does not include a domain alias you will be able to add on in the package add-on's section.

Having said that you can also use meta redirection or framed redirection for your site, which is not as good as a domain alias but would have a similar end result...

Cheers,

Jacob

I wrote my question in a hurry before and left out half the facts. Me bad...

I have purchased a PowerXtra package and also registered a .co.uk and a .com domain with Catalyst. I set up my 2 domains in Helm and am awaiting the completion of the registration

Initially I thought this package would be the perfect but then I realised I would have 2 locations to maintain which I don't want.

What you are saying is that if I set up a domain alias www.domain.co.uk in the www.domain.com section of Helm both domains will use www.domain.com web space?

With this in mind, as I have a PowerXtra account which gives me space for 2 domains can I now use the newly free domain space for another domain

I never have been good at explaining myself.

I won't not use double degatives, Andi
