MX records

We have a domain that is web hosted on cat2 but which does not use the cat2 dns. Currently we host email for the domain elsewhere and would like to change over to cat2 doing the email too. Long explanation - short question: what are the names we should use in the MX records to point to cat2?

Mail server IP is 213.230.202.11

The way in which Helm setup the mail stuff is:
A record - mail - 213.230.202.11
A record - @ - (Your website IP)
MX record - @ - mail.domain.com (preference 21)

Hope that helps

Thanks for the reply - if I'm right in understanding your reply it means that I can use mail.MyOtherDomainThatIsHostedOnCat2.com as the mailserver for the domain that isn't hosted on cat2! Does that make sense?

mail.catalyst2.com or mail.anydomain all resolve to mail.active-ns.com ( 213.230.202.11 ) so use what you want!
