Records of a domain status
This maybe OT, and I apologise if it is.
I may find myself in the position of having to investigate whether the status of a domain was changed or not. It is my understanding that a lookup on a domain would show only the last recorded status of a domain (ACTIVE, REGISTRAR- LOCK, etc.). Does anybody know if the history of a domain status is recorded? If such record exists, who would be holding it, perhaps a registrar? TY for your replies!

Depends on the domain a .co.uk for example, nominet may well hold those sorts of records.
