Nameserver change

Hi Guys,

I bought a Linux package the other day there and changed the nameservers on my existing domain ( alfa155.org ) to point to the ip given to me.

The domain now appears to be pointing to the cat2 server, however, I'm getting a cpanel page stating that there is now website configured at this address.

I assume that things are still sorting themselves out, however, being a bit new to this game, I wonder if anyone can confirm that this is the case.

I have got a page uploaded and activated the phpbb, both of which I can see if I use http://mango.catalyst2.com/~username.

Thanks in advance,
Colin

Hi Colin,

Please change the IP to 84.18.207.64, if you then wait 24 hours or so it should then work. It is however probably easier to just update the nameservers on the domain to:

ns5.catalyst2.net
ns6.catalyst2.net

Regards,

Jacob

Jacob, Thanks for your very swift reply!

Ok changed to that ip (my domain is registered with easily and there is no facility to put in ns5.catalyst2.net ns6.catalyst2.net only the ip).

The dns has changed already, however I'm now getting Index of /

If I put in alfa155.org/~username I then get to the right page.

Will this resolve itself or do I need to make more changes?

Thanks again in advance!!

Colin.
