Sub-Domain Configuration
Hi Paul/Jacob/Everyone else
![]() My domain is www.bowdonrufc.com. I am looking to add two sub-domains to my configuration. How will the additional files be stored on the server? I'm guessing there are three options: a) files stored in d:/domains/subdomain.bowdonrufc.com/ b) files stored in d:/domains/bowdonrufc.com/subdomain/ c) files stored in d:/domains/bowdonrufc.com/wwwroot/subdomain/ I don't think it matters how it is setup (though personally I think (a) would be ideal) but I need to know how so I can configure my local version accordingly prior to purchasing anything. Also, I have a domain alias, bowdonrufc.co.uk, which I need the sub-domains to work for as well - ie - subdomain.bowdonrufc.co.uk must resolve. Will this automatically work because of my existing domain alias or do I have to add additional extras? Please reply ASAP as this is a matter of some urgency ![]() Thanks Jay |

Thanks Paul - is there any way around the domain alias problem or am I stuck with it? Could I create a domain alias for subdomain.bowdonrufc.com from subdomain.bowdonrufc.co.uk?
If there is no workaround don't worry - I don't think it will matter TOO much
