Problem Sending e-mail to catalyst POP3 account

This is my first attempt at having a domain hosted. The Primary reason is so that my family members can all have their own appropriate e-mail address.

I Have set up a POP3 account for myself matthew@mcandrew.biz but when I attempt to send an e-mail using Outlook Express using Onetel as my outgoing SMTP I receive the following.

""
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at onetel.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<matthew@mcandrew.biz>:
67.18.135.154 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550 5.7.1 <matthew@mcandrew.biz>... we do not relay <matthew_mcandrew@onetel.net>
Giving up on 67.18.135.154.

--- Below this line is a copy of the message.
""

I have opened my POP3 account using http://mail.catalyst.com and succesfully sent a test message through onetel that was received via Outlook Express.

Would be grateful for any help as I can't find any relevant information on the forum.

Do you have SMTP authentication turned on?

Regards,

How surprised am I receiving a reply late on a saturday evening. Thought everybody would be busy watching Srictly Dance Fever.

Anyway,

Unsure as to what settings you are refering too.

Is this a HELM setting that I have been unable to find, or are you referring to the "Outgoing Mail Server" settings under the "servers" tab in account settings for Outlook Express.

If the latter then this remains unchecked.

You need to the tick the box that says:

"My Outgoing mail server requires authentication" - can you see that?
