ASP Email Script

Hi everyone,

I am trying to set up a feedback form using CDONTS but for some reason it doesnt work on this server, it seems to me that the script is being ignored totally, which is very strange!

It works fine using my IIS and I don’t get any error!

So the question is: has anyone had the same problem? Does any one knows where the problem may be?

Does the from address in the script exist in Helm - if not then the email will not send.

Hi jacob,

Yeah everything was fine and had nothing to do with the script.

The problem is, surprisenly, CDONTS DONT work properly. I used CDO and works perfectly fine, no problem whatsoever!

So I think it would be a good idea if you update the "Mega Deal" package list, at least!

Many of our users use CDONTS and it works fine, I would therefore suggest there was a script error of some kind. No matter, as long as it is working for you now.

Yeah possibly was some king of error but the wird thing is that it worked fine using my IIS. But never mind now... it works!!

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but exist where in HELM did you mean?

I mean, does the email address that you are using as the "from" email address in the script exist as an actual email address within Helm.

Does that make sense?
