Uploading a file

Hello everyone!

I have various mailers which run in CDONTS and ASP. I would like to be able to ask applicants to be able to upload files (eg a CV or a photo) from their PC to then attach itself to the mailer and pass on as an attachment.

If I am to understand correctly, the file needs to be uploaded to the server and from there downloaded in the usual way.

That is about the extent of my knowledge. I've scoured the net and all there seems to be information on is for how I could send an attachment back - useless in other words.

I am self-taught and far from a techie but I am keen to learn. I would be greatly appreciate it if someone could explain how to do this:

Please don't assume I know something (other than setting up a basic ASP Mailer)

Please don't use textspeak as it is gibberish to me - I'll just sit there puzzling and thinking it's some bit of advanced code!
