blocked/bounced emails
It seems that Catalyst2 mail server 84.18.207.4 (orange) has been black listed by SORBS. This seems to be causing me some problems send out emails which are not reaching the recipient.
Also some mails to me are boucing back to the sender which I hope is related to the SORBS blacklisting. Is it possible to get de-listed?? Thks |

We have locked down the mailserver quite a bit over the last few days to combat people taking advantage of the smtp server we provide. Unfortunately we cant get unlisted, we just need to wait till it times out.
Ths current activity may lead to us removing an smtp service however. |

Infact I have just checked out sorbs again, they require a fine be paid yet provide no information about the email that was 'spam', for all we know it could have been an opt in mailing list sent by a customer.
I am afraid due to their tactics of trying to take money to de-list a server, orange will continue to be on sorbs for the forseeable future. Apologies if this causes anyone issues but we certainly wont be held to ransom by a random company, over a single email they will provide no details about. |
