email into thunderbird settings issue?

Hey

Is anyone able to check their domain email in thunderbird? I've had it working in outlook for years and thought it would be easy to switch over but there doesn't appear to be anyway to set the 'my server requires authentication' or the smtp port as 25 i think thunderbird is trying to use 110 for both? I can recieve fine it just wont let me send

Cheers

Mark

Hey Paul

Yeah thats how I've got it set up, actually imported from outlook, and tried it from scratch since, theres not a lot you can change! All out of ideas?! I could always go back to outlook if its not gonna happen just seems like it should be simple. Attached screen shot of settings.

On the left hand side of the box at the bottom of the box (the one your can scroll in) there should be some specific SMTP settings.

Jacob

It does work in Thunderbird - I have set it up before. The junk mail filter is a bit better in Thunderbird than in Outlook. Thunderbird is also a quicker program.
