My IMAP Account has got duplicate email

MY IMAP email account has suddenly got duplicate entries fro every email ever received?

All the duplicates are marked unread.

Server is banana...

Have you tried it in a different mail client?

It appears different but I believe the problem is still there! If I use Horde to look in at the mail I can see Mail #'s. My inbox went from 0 undread to >700 today (i.e 700 mails [I never tidy up!] that were read had now duplicated and become 1400+ mails, with 7009 unread!)

In Horde I can see at least some duplicate mails... with different numbers (the old read one 700, the new one 1400...

I'm not sure how useable any of the data is so I repalced "@" with (a)

the only difference appears to be that one has a MIME line and a 7bit line?
