Prices

Just want to say your prices are slightly outdated and not really worth it for the resources. I myself have established myself as a very good webhost. www.*******

I offer the services very easily and am not overselling. Its that prices much change with todays customers needs. £15 inc VAT for 250MB Space and 1GB Transfer costs like £2 to you. So why should it cost so much for the end user. I myself sell alot more for alot cheaper.

Its just a concern you should address. As an ex-customer of CAT2 im pretty much appaled. Its been 1 year since ive visited. But by 2005 i wouldve thought your prices might have evolved with todays times. It seems not.

If you compare our offerings to other Uk hosts you will see that we offer packages that are excellent value for money. We run our own network, own our servers and dont reseller other companies resources or infrastructure.

You will always find hosts that offer more for less, but usually there is a limit to how far this can go without sacrificing service quality and support.

Not wishing to jump on the 'I love Catalyst2' bandwagon too much but the service here is very good and indeed as Jason pointed out much better than anywhere else i've hosted. And i've been around a fair few....

Your Packages Stealthblade are cheap granted (can be seen at www.*****) but they appear to be Linux only which is always cheaper than Windows hosting anyway.

Personally i wouldn't host with anyone abroad mainly because of time difference as any problems that may arise would have the solution delayed if at the wrong time of day but also because its always been harder in my experience to get hold of people when you need them! If Forgehosting (www.*******) do the business for you then fair enough but i think posting on another hosting companies forum slating their prices is a bit much when all you are doing is piggybacking off of another company anyway.

I agree with Tim,

I think the service here is excellant, UK hosted (which is a bonus for SEO).
Very helpfull support, not only from Paul, but all member contribute.

Im slowly migrating across to CAT2 (have been for the last year

) Although our other hosts are Good, they a more expensive and offer less services, ie no PHP, webmail cannot resell on etc.

Overall this is a very good hosting company, with great value for money.
The ability to allow approved components (.dll) is also a big bonus, and Paul doesnt charge much for this (which i like

)
