Some ideas

Ok, just my first impressions - but i'd love to see the following features on Catalyst2:

1) Backup Nameserver and MX.

It would be great if, say, you could purchase extra resiliancy. No-one expects this to be included in the mega-deal price bracket, but say for another £11.99 you could add a nameserver and backup MX for your domain. For best practice, this could be located on a seperate network (perhaps stateside) and have a different domain name attached (eg. ns5.catalyst2.co.uk - rather than .com or .net).

2) A 'congrats you've just signed up' page on the linux servers. At the moment the process finished with worldpay and until you check your email you're not quite sure where you stand. This is a minor issue of course, but it would just lead to a very polished sign up procedure.

3) A referrer / affiliate scheme.
Yes, i'd love to set up http://hosting.chrisjames.co.uk and offer my friends accounts via my own url. (although not branded, just with links to catalyst2.com with my own referrer code.) Given the great value, and not to compete with your reseller accounts, maybe rather than commission we could earn points etc that go towards extra services for us (more email accounts / extra domain mappings / additional mysql databases etc The ultimate in personal recommendations!

We are looking into the backup mx option at the moment but have no timescale for it. As for the affiliate scheme, we have a system like that for linux accounts but we haven't rolled it out yet so watch this space
