Statistical Packages
Hi
With all these new statistical packages being made available, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a particular one for my clients. I imagine they all pretty much do the same job but is there one that stands out from the crowd LiveStats 5 LiveStats 6 LiveStats XSP SmarterStats AWStats Any advise would be appreciated Cheers Andi |

On all windows packages we use SmarterStats and it does a pretty good job.

Cheers Jacob
One last thing. Is there a way I can configure the dns record so that I can use stats.domain.com instead of http://smartstats.active-ns.com/ |

You can setup the domain stats.yourdomain.com and then just have it forward to smartstats.active-ns.com

Smarterstats is your better choice. It's sensibly priced and does a good job. The live stat stuff is awesome but it comes at a price. You're only going to need thoes sorts of features if you've got a big site with a team of people dedicated to the users experience.
Create a CName with the value stats.active-ns.com for your dns record.
