Service Status
Hello,
Just to let you all know about a new page we have added to the site. A service status page. You can find it at: http://www.catalyst2.com/service_status.asp This will enable you to check if there are currently any issues with any of our servers and is a useful first point of call when you are experiencing a problem with retrieving information from your site. If you have any comment, queries or suggestions regarding this, feel free to post. Regards, Jacob

It tests the service, so it checks it can login to pop3, checks a webpage fully loads etc. Doesnt just ping the boxes.
The db ones are more complex as alertra doesnt have a feature to test it as such, but I am going to see what I can arrange

The key certainly helps make this a bit more obvious, good idea to get this up and running at last.
I've been playing with a server status tool of my own to display on the web but have kind of let it lapse a little. Is there any chance of a reseller version of this that we can use or just a plain page version that can be I Framed for example? Tim Marshall |

Tim,
What would you want the reseller version to display? Regards, Jacob

Well for me i'd be selfish as i only do Windows accounts i'd like everything thats not linux related but i would like the mysql database monitor too.
Any chance of the code to do this as it would be nice to format it differently so it would fit in a bit better? Tim Marshall |

By the way the Rate Catalyst2 link that you have on your profile and Paul's do go to the site but that site doesn't seem to let you actually submit comments. I've tried a couple of times before and just noticed again that you still only have 4 reviews! Might be worth testing it and getting on to the company concerned if there is a problem.

Thats the bit that doesn't seem to work.
Whilst it lets me fill in the form my submitted details have never appeared. It does say they reserve the right to put the details up but surely thats a bit bad if they just ignore my ones. After all i was giving catalyst2 some good praise that nobody is going to see. Tim Marshall |

Ok, as requested a reseller service status page. The address is as follows:
http://www.catalyst2.com/service_sta...es&network=yes The forum may mess up the link, so just click on the link and you see various options. Including the following: windows=yes linux=yes vps=yes offsite=yes network=yes If you do not want a particular group to show up either change yes to no or just remove it from the address. You should be able to link to the page using an include or iframe. Any queries or comments, let us know. Regards, Jacob
