DotNetNuke v4

Hi

I'm thinking of setting up a personal DNN site.
I can see from the ".net" thread that you're in the process of rolling out ASP 2.0 (and SQL 2005?).
So my question is whether catalyst2 can host DNN sites (v4)?
Thanks in advance
Pascal

Hi Pascal,

We have a number of DNN v3 sites running on our servers - what are the differences between v3 and v4?

Regards,

Jacob

Hi Jacob

Essentially DNN v3 is targeted at version 1.1 of the .Net framework while DNN v4 is designed to be used with ASP.net 2.0. So I'll probably need to wait until catalyst2 makes .net 2 and SQL 2005 available.

I think it's great you're hosting DNN sites.
If I have a DNN site do I need to get a specific package or is it as straight forward as uploading the web site files and setting up a SQL database?

Thanks
Pascal

Hi Pascal,

Any Windows package will be able to host DNN.

Jacob
