Advanced Spam Filtering Now Available!
We have now completed testing and implementation of our new spam and virus filtering system. Our feedback from testers has been excellent!
Our system filters ~98% of spam and all known viruses from your email with no changes required at your end Any suspected spam is quarantined and a daily digest email is sent to each address showing any caught emails, these can then be: - Whitelisted, to prevent them being caught in future - Deleted from the system - Released, will deliver the email to your mailbox, but not white list it for future You can also login to the system at any time using your normal mail details to check messages in the quarantine, and update your white lists and blacklists. In order to use the system you must not have a catch all set-up on your domain, this will only work with normal POP3 mailboxes and forwarders. The introductory cost per 10 individual mailboxes is £25/year, and can be added in HELM under 'Extra Features', we will then contact you to confirm the domain and change the mail over to the filtering system. If you have any questions please let us know

Spam filtering / Catch-all accounts
Hi,
Just one question in regards to the catch-all situation. In my domain, I've got, say, 15 mailboxes and one of those is a catch-all account. Would it be possible to go for the spam filtering for 10 mailboxes, but have 5 of the mailboxes (including the catch-all account) not configured for the filter? Or would I need to apply the filter for all mailboxes and disable the catch all feature? Cheers and regards, Phil.

Its a shame about the catch all. My question is if my mates swear in an email will that get filtered? My only worry is ending up having to check the filtered mail every day anyway, which kind of defeats the purpose.
So how does it work exactly as my friends like to swear a bit. Al

Just ignore my post. Dumbo here never read the top thread by Paul which answered my question.
I have now taken out the spam filter. But where can i immediately view the quarantined spam without having to wait for my daily email? Al

So far its working amazingly well, the best spam filter Ive used.
One thing that I have thought about for possible addition to this (in the interests of continual improvement of course )) im not sure if this is possible but its this...Lets say my outlook express emails arrive one day but one of the email address I would like to add to the spam titan blasklist. Current process says i must go the the spam titan control panel and add it this way. But how about if it were somehow possible for me to 'forward' the email, from outlook express, to say, e.g. "blacklist@spamtitan.net" (or whatever). Then, maybe spamtitan will 'see' that my domain name has sent the email and attribute it automatically to my blacklist? Sounds complicated I know but maybe its possible? What do you think lads n lassies? Al
