phpBB error

I'm getting this error after submitting a post on my forum:

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 550 5.7.1 ... we do not relay

It started happening today. Any ideas?

I'm using phpBB 2.0.19 (latest and up to date) and contrary to the message, the post is accepted.

Hi Adrian,

You need to ensure that you are sending the emails from a mail account that is held with catalyst2. This is a new anti-spam measure that we have implemented.

Presumably then, this is because a member has requested an email when a reply is posted to a thread.

All I have to do now is figure out what the settings should be.

NO is selected for this first one

Use SMTP Server for email
Say yes if you want or have to send email via a named server instead of the local mail function

SMTP Server Address

SMTP Username
Only enter a username if your SMTP server requires it

SMTP Password
Only enter a password if your SMTP server requires it

Can you tell me what to enter for these settings?

The smtp server will be: mail.aer-net.co.uk
Username: your email address
Password: your email account password
