support email address not activated?
Hi,
I have a problem with the registration process for support. Hopefully somebody can help. The address I registered with (footshot at blueyonder dot co dot uk) is reporting as bad username/password. I know the address is registered, because it won't let me reregister it. I know my password is correct too, but even if I use the link to get my password mailed back to me (just to double check), no mail ever arrives in my inbox. This is a problem because I can't check up on the tickets I've posted with that address. It's entirely possible (although I can't be sure) that the limbo state is down to my over enthusiastic spam filter blocking the activate your account email. Hence I could just not be activated? I dunno? Anyhow, can I just get the address removed so I can re-register etc, or another activation mail sent to me? If not, how long will it take for the address to die of it's own accord? I know I could register with another address, but I'd like to use it if possible, you know how it is, trying to remember the usernames and logons for a billion different sites etc ![]() Cheers. |

![]() No. I don't. It's not urgent or anything. I had 3 tickets, and I'm 99% sure that 2 of them have been sorted (thank you whomever). The 3rd is with regards to this issue, but obviously I can't check to see any feedback about timescales etc. No worries though I'll just chill and try to reregister every now and then and hope there is some kind of timeout applied. |
