I am thinking about selling some components / software through my web site, probably using PayPal to process the payments so I can accept cards, PayPal, etc. Rather than using the standard PayPal pages I want to request all of the payment information within the site and use PayPal API functions to process the payment. For this I need to use SSL.
Will anSSL folder be enough to host my payment page rather than a dedicated certificate? Will this appear transparent to my site visitors or will it be obviously a shared certificate? Does anyone have an example of this in use? Thanks |

Hi,
A dedicated SSL will look like: https://www.yourdomain.com whereas a shared SSL will look like https://servername.sslsercured.com/yourdomain-com So, your users may well notice the difference in the URL. Regards, Jacob
