Permissions

Hi I have added a 'logs' folder to my site which contains files I want to write to. Can you please set up permissions on the folder for me to allow this as I'm getting the following error:

The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy. To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator or change the application's trust level in the configuration file.

Regards,

Nick

Hi,

It sounds like you are trying to do something that requires full trust and our servers only support medium trust.

Regards,

Jacob

The problem is you wont be able to read above your wwwroot folder due to the security permissions we have had to put in place, standard asp/php can read those files but unfortunately due to the way .net security has to be implemented it isnt possible.

Hi,

Oh this is a folder you have created within the wwwroot folder, not the logs folder that contains your website logs?

In that case I suggest you raise a ticket with your domain details and how a member of the support staff can reproduce the error.
