I've just been using the Disk Space Usage tool in cPanel, and it says there are 153.54 Meg of files in the tmp folder.
tmp/analog 86.57 Meg tmp/awstats 45.56 Meg tmp/webalizer 19.75 Meg There's a file in tmp/analog called cache that's 64MB. I know these files show the usage stats for my site. The question is, can I safely delete all the files to clear some space? |

The loss of old stats is not a problem. My concern is that I'll accidentally delete something that will mess up the creation of new stats, or worse...
Can you confirm that other than the loss of old data, deleting those files wont mess anything up? |
