Daylight savings time
on a windows hosting account at the moment but using a php forum for the site. With the time change in the Uk this morning ( +1 hour ) the forum is now an hour out.
I assume the forum is getting its time from the server date/time. I've gone into the forum config and theres an iption to set the system timezone. I've set this to GMT +1 and the date/time is ok, however for users that are logged in and regsterd with a time zone of GMT the time for them remains the one one. being new to setting up forums how do you get round this ? short of telling users they need to change the time in thier own profile ? or is there a server setting I can alter to update the date time? |

But i think its the forum software, using phpBB version 2.0 and that doesn't seem to have the DST option. Just installed 3.0 locally on my home PC and that does have the DST option so going to update this on the server. |
