Scheduled Maintainence 5th May

On Wednesday 5th May between 00.00 and 03.00 BST we will be performing some essential network maintenance which is outlined below:

- Firmware upgrade of 2 core switches
- Installation and testing of extra firewall
- Installation and testing of second Cisco router

Dedicated and Shared hosting clients
-------------------------------------

2 x 3-5 minute outages for switch upgrades
1 x 5-10 minute outage for addition firewall testing
1 x 5-10 minute outage for router testing

Co-Location clients
-------------------

1 x 3-5 minute outages for switch upgrades
1 x 5-10 minute outage for router testing

These upgrades will ensure that our network will continue to function correctly in the event of a future core system failure. We aim to minimise any downtime to services, but we have scheduled a 3 hour 'at-risk' period in case of any other issues.
