Hi,

We have been experiencing some problems with the journal of the ext3 filesystem on blueberry.catalyst2.com's /var filesystem. We are therefore scheduling a maintenance slot to perform some restorative work.

This window will run between 20:00 on Saturday 20th September and 06:00 on Sunday 21st September. We do not believe that the server will be inaccessible for the whole window - however, a long window is being scheduled so as to ensure that, should the problem not be resolved, any additional actions can be taken without further disruption to service.

The server will be inaccessible whilst the journal on the /var partition is rebuilt and some filesystem health checks are performed.

Hi,

We've rebuilt the journal of the filesystem of this server, and run full check and repair operations on the problematic partition. A number of errors were corrected, which should resolve the issues experienced.
