IP Change and Network Upgrade -24th July

On Thursday 24th July we will be performing upgrades and changes to our network and servers in order to provide you with a more reliable service. These changes are listed below:

1. Installation of a new Cisco Pix 515e firewall to replace our faulty watchguard one.

2. Memory upgrade in apple to help fix the recent asp issues.

3. Changing our IP range.

These upgrades will take place between 12 midnight and 6am on the thursday morning. All services will be down during this time.

Also some customers may experience a problems connecting to their websites while the IP changes take affect over the next 24-48hrs, these will be intermittent and may affect some people and not others while their isp's dns servers update.

Customers who host their own dns and point the relivant zone records to our IP's should make sure they keep an eye on our forums as we will be posting the new IP's of each server in the next few days.

Any customers with dedicated IP's will have their new IP's emailed to them the weekend before.

If you have any questions or queries regarding these changes please let us know - upgrade@catalyst2.com
