creating a guestbook

Hi All

I am in need of some helping creating a guest book.

Any chance of any help? - I have no knowledge of this at all - so it will need to be step by step guide I'm afraid. Also, the guest book is to go on a rather prominent local website so will have to be smart and professional - I have looked at some freeebie ones - but I'm not sure that they are right. Any ideas gratefully recieved!

Do you want to use any particular language e.g. asp or php? How much knowledge do you have in either of these areas? If you have little then I would suggest something like http://www.cutandpastescripts.com/ .
