Performance of .net sites

I'm thinking of moving to you from another host because the performance of my vb.net pages there has not always been satisfactory.

My vb.net pages are very simple, and I would expect them to run near instantaneously. Is this what I can expect with catalyst2?

Many thanks

I'm not quite sure if I'm classed as an unbiased opinion but I've never had a problem.

Admittable I haven't done any configuration of my local IIS and .net but the live site loads quicker than the local test version.

Try out one of my live sites http://www.rightlines.ltd.uk - this is a precompiled c# project running off a MS SQL database.

Hope that helps

Jas

I have had a few problems but they were just permissions errors and were quickly sorted out by support. I've never really had any asp.net issues and my site runs fine. Look at www.dlpwd.co.uk, forums.dlpwd.co.uk and digipix.dlpwd.co.uk. All run off asp.net with compiled c# codebehind and xml datastores.

My ASP.Net portal runs very well on the Cat2 servers, problems I had have always been resolved.

For an example site on Cat2 see - www.uklans.com

Oh and this is all read from the DB.

If you use access for your data in combination with web matrix/vs.net code, you indeed get slow pages :P (not saying you do use this, however).
