Switching Domain Names on accounts.
Hi there,
I have two hosting accounts with you. One of them is a Windows and one is Linux. I was wondering if its possible to change domain names on the accounts or would I have to terminate and re-order the hosting packages?

i'd like to perform the following;
1. Move Domain mapping from existing windows account to existing linux account. 2. Map New domain (registered elsewhere but not currently pointing to C2 Nameservers) to existing windows account. Number 2 wouldnt be a priority however. |

To move the windows domain to your linux package you would need to change the named servers to ns5.catalyst2.net and ns6.catalyst2.net. You would then need to make some changes in CPannel. I'm not familiar with this so hopefully someone else could help you on this point.
With the new windows domain you need to get you domain pointing to the namedservers ns1.catalyst2.net and ns2.catalyst2.net, then in helm go to domains > new domain > No registration or transfer required > fill in domain and click save and your done. Hope that helps Jas

thanks
that doesnt sound like too much of a problem. although i cant see an option to modify the domain on the account (cPanel).Parked domains and Domain Addons doesnt work as its not a facility on my package. Registering in cPanel is the only thing I need help with - unless its something that has to be done by the admin team. |

You need to either drop me, or support a mail at rob@catalyst2.com or support@catalyst2.com respectively, and I can switch the domain.
