Signing up and transferring a domain

Hi, I'd like to transfer a domain I have hosted (with uk2.net, as a url diversion) to the unix power deal. I had a brief look the first couple of stages of the signup form> it asks me to enter the url i want to transfer, but do I need a release code of any sort from the current host, or do catalyst handle this?
