"Lost" domain!

I had a domain on a mega deal package all working fine last year but I heard nothing from my client so when the package renewal came up, I got the account deleted.

That client has just emailed me asking where his website has gone

so I would like to get a new package for him. How do I get the domain (which does not expire until december) back into the new package?

If you are saying there is no package that currently exists with that domain and the DNS details of the domain still point to catalyst2 then all you need to do is add the domain back into catalyst2, making sure you click on the option that says 'No registration or transfer required'.
