Post sale questions
hello, got some linux hosting on the weekend(megadeal) and there are a few things i'm unsure on in cPanel.
Email and ftp accounts show up as 0/1. Looking at both email and ftp pages, they both have a 'main account', does this mean I can setup an additional email+ftp account different from my main account? Also what is a Postgresql Database? Thanks, Minh. ps, the linux megadeal page says subdomains are an extra, but the page before says one SD - confused me a bit.

Yes, the email/ftp accounts number is normal, nothing to worry about. cPanel creates default accounts for you, of which we allow you one extra.
A PostgresSQL database is just another database engine as an alternative to MySQL. A subdomain is included as a little extra ;-) Rob

cheers rob,
does cPanel prevent you from going over the limits? ie doesn't let you add 5 email/ftp/etc accounts when you get 1? oh, and is there a way to change the default file names it looks for in a directory?

That's correct. If you go over the bandwidth limit you site will be suspended also.
Kind Regards, Jacob
