Transferring from Windows to Linux?

Hi,

I've been on a Windows server with Catalyst2 for the past two years and have had no problems at all, so thanks for the service.

I wondered if there was any chance of me being able to switch from a Windows to a Linux host. I've just paid for another year's hosting and so I'd rather not set up a new account on Linux! Could the package or server be changed at all?

Thanks,

James

Hi James,

You will need to sign up for a linux account as a new customer. If you open a ticket we can see what we can do about transferring over the money you have just paid.

Regards,

Jacob

Thanks for the reply, Jacob.

When you say you'll see what you can do, does that mean there is a good chance I could transfer payment across? If not, could I perhaps have part of the cost of my current server reimbursed? I'm trepidatious about setting up a new account if I'm going to be paying for two at once!

I would suggest you open the ticket first, we can have a look at when you last paid etc and we can go from there.

Regards,

Jacob
