Read exif information?

Hey guys.

Anyone here know of a reasonably straightforward way/component to read the exif information from a JPG image?

I'm primarily writing my site in ASP, but I could always switch to PHP/VBScript etc. if necessary.

The built in PHP functions including exif_read_data can't be used unfortunately.
