Sending emails securely using ASP

Morning all

I am setting up a website for a playgroup with online applications.

I need to get applicant's information back to the Playgroup administrator securely. I know I can set up the site to be SSL, but that will only encrypt the data between the browser and the server. This is sensitive information (names addresses of kids) so I want to be safe.

I was planning to use CDO to send an email to the Playgroup Administrator using CDO in ASP with the applicant details in it, but I am concerned that the information will not be encrypted (I believe it just gets put into some sort of SMTP stream?).

Any ideas? I know I could send a notification email to the Playgroup administrator and get them to log in to a secure area of the site, but that's more work for me & I'm doing it as a freebie!
