Pop up problem
I've just moved here for hosting and have just started redesigning my website: http://www.scarydvd.co.uk
I tried looking at my website from my 2 PC's at work and found that I had a random pop up appearing on index page. Thinking I would sort it out when I got home tonight I've found that the pop up isn't appearing. Please could some kind people have a look and see if the pop up appears for them or not. P.S. I should get pop ups at home as I've turned off the Norton Ad Blocking. If I can't find what's causing it I'll have to use work time!!

My guess is its this:
<!--Start On-Enter Background Pop-Up Window <!--<script language="JavaScript"> <!-- browserVer = parseInt(navigator.appVersion); SX=window.open('http://horror100.mytopsitelist.com/jump.php?cmd=in&list_id=horror100&site_id=brigadie ra','SXback','toolbar=1,location=1,status=1,menuba r=1,scrollbars=1,resizable=1,width=500,height=300' ); if( browserVer >= 4) { window.focus(); } // --> <!--</script>--></font> </div> </font> <!--End On-Enter Pop-Up Window--> At the bottom of your html, I have my java disabled 100% of the time when browsing, so I can’t tell you if I received a popup or not, but this code is a popup. I had commented out this pop up as I was not going to use it anymore, but the pop-up I was getting was different. I've now deleted the above code (just in case) and I'll try again at work tomorrow.
I suspect it may be the bravenet counter or Webstat counter that may be causing the problem. I'm just surprised it didn't happen before. |
