.

OK, its my first ever go at either CSS, ASP or a database driven web site, so be gentle. Now that the nameserver issues are solved, i'd appreciate some feedback on how the site looks. The site is by no means complete, much of the content is yet to be added, but the basic design and layout is there for all to see. I'd also be interested to know if the photo galleries work on your machine...
Does it display OK? Any niggles/alignment issues at your resolution or with a particular browser? Any recommended changes?

Thanks

.

Looks good, but try to remove the green background/borders from some images (e.g. the newspaper at the homepage).

Just one other thing..
Your contact page states the page is designed with w3 standards. Of course, many people will then assume that it is also valid html.
Take a look at http://validator.w3.org/ and enter your url to check it!

If you need help fixing things just tell us.

Yeah, that was one of the things i'd pencilled in to do, but just haven't got round to doing it yet. Thats down the list on the 'niggles' front at the moment

Lee,

Nice site.

You may well be interested in the site I run:

http://www.teamstats.net

also hosted by Catalyst2.

Its a service for amateur footy teams such as yours which calculates and displays detailed stats based on match details that you enter after every game you play.

So far nearly 700 teams from all over the world have signed up. Its completely free so give it a go....

Cheers,

Tom

oooh, looks interesting.
Can I embed the stats in my page, or do visitors have to leave the site and go to your page to view them?

The simplest way to incorporate into your site would be a popup window which shows the content of the following pages:

Teamstats:

http://teamstats.net/view_teamstats....e=yourusername

Playerstats:

http://teamstats.net/player_stats.as...e=yourusername
