I have just made this website, obviously its not finished it is just the basic template, but can you send replys of any improvements i could do. (remeber it is for fun not a professional website).

Change the colour scheme! Light coloured text on a dark background is difficult to read, and just looks rubbish.

My first advice would be to sort out the fonts - Times New Roman is not good for reading on a screen. I'm seeing Times New Roman either because that is what you have specified, or you have specified a font I do not have, or because you have not specified a font at all.

I would also add a lighter background to the news "boxes", so that the majority of text is not on dark colours.

My honest opinion is that it is way to dull.

Import a few more colours, use different fonts and a few images wouldnt hurt.
