Hullo one and all. Cast your eyes over www.usis.co.ug if you will. It's still beta and we're still gathering subscriptions, but ... coming along.

It's a database for Ugandan schools that doubles as a cheap simple web presence, messaging system etc. The IT sector is growing in popularity and there's an O Level in ICT now (which I'm teaching).

In future will become collaborative 'magazine' style affair for students to share opinions and improve skills. Maybe a forum too.

But for the moment, try a search for schools in Jinja district, for instance. Bear in mind designed for Ugandan grate internet connexion!
