A Newbies site
I am just learning how to put togeather sites and this one is a "business" site. I am using cuteSitebuilder4 because I have found Dreamweaver to complicated, so far anyway. I don't know anything about CGI, PHP, HTML, JS(other than to copy and paste them), so my knowledge is quite limited. I am openminded enough tho, to accept critisism(sp), and hope people will comment as to how to improve my efforts.
The site:

To be honest, I don't think its even worth giving any critism or comments about your site, however, having a title make more money is enough to put anyone of reading the site to begin with.
Secondly, when you visit a link on your site, a nice net send pop-up box appears which reminds my I havn't disabled windows messenger services so I will have to do that to stop bloody anoying pop-up windows appearing trying to sell me diplomas or car mechanic books. Next, we all now animated gif's tend to get on people's nerves, however, that images that flashes 'free' may be useful if it was telling you what is free, (is it free to view your website, or do you offer some free service, or even just try and get as much free money out of people as possible through a pyramid scheme) Finally, if I want to join some get rich quick scheme all I need to do is look at my 'Possible Spams' folder in outlook, I am not going to go through several pages on a web site, with that in mind it will probably explain why most sites offering the same services as yours tend to only be one page rather than a whole site. You may need to reconsider who your audience is becuase their are a lot of people out their who will be interested in your products (perhaps becuase their brains have the processing power of a peanut) and you can in fact make a lot of money out of it or more likely find yourself working into more and more debt one or the other. Anyway, apart from the fact that you probably wasted your time with your easywork website your FIMA website is a bit more promising and you would probably get more advice and tips if you ask people to look at that site instead. |

I had to laugh at your cynisism re the site. Obviously you have been burnt by a "get rich scheme". I am sorry for that. The site does offer free money to be made with little effort and at a TOTAL cost to a person of 17 $us. IF you wanted to expand and get an additional site like I have of course there is more expense.
But this is not to advertise the business. I do appreciate your comments and can see the validity of them all. I have not been able to view the FIMA site yet, for some unknown reason my browser will not see it (404). And yes, I would appreciate peoples comments on it also. http://www.fimasite.org We are attempting to have this project in full activity by October and have already aquired an island in the Indian River Lagoon to start our restoration. Thanks again for your comments.

lol,
Well I have never been burnt by a get rich quick scheme, but after seeing how a lot of them work I know just how many people loose out with them. My family business sold a range of Naturess products that where returned to this country after the Russian market collapsed so we used agents who would sell these products on, unfortunatly most of our agents lost thousands in a pyramid sheme trying to sell wrist magnets. The idea is you have to have a license to sell the product, you then get so many items to sell and then you sell them on. The trouble is if you look at the maths you end up loosing money each time you get a new license. It is possible to make money but you will have to work very hard. But if you really want to make money then my advice would be to start your own scheme (And avoid the authorities where possible). The good thing is we now have enough shower gel to last a lifetime and for some reason we seemed to loose contact with the company that made the naturess line. So oveerall with the money we made (including our agents) we did very well ![]() *Naturess was a tradmark of Designer Cosmetics of London Limited may still be or may not be a tradmark of The Gillette Company & Gillette Group UK Limited Last edited by adam; 30-06-2003 at 12:51 AM. |

Adam,I am familiar, as when the wife and I were (were?) young and dumb, we too got involved with something like that. I have looked at many, many schemes to get involved with and this SEEMS to be the best(for the money and labor) so far. Cheap and not labor intensive and easy to set up........Nuff on the business......What about the FIMA site? I have seen some errors myself and also think that the length of some of the articles may be too long. I am hopeing that Helm can/will make a MIME adjustment so the FlipAlbum will work. It is a neat feature. I wish I knew more about JS, CGI, PHP, HTML, etc to be able to do advanced stuff like other people do. I read in the forums stuff to do, that is totally uncomprehensible to me. Guess I have to start studying. Any other comments/advise? Cheers...................
