MS Sharepoint

I know that cat2 do not provide this service at present, but wondered if any other customers had the need to use or would find it useful to have MS Sharepoint available as an extra to Windows users? Does anyone use this elsewhere at the moment? I have a couple of clients who would be keen thats for sure.

Wink Sharepoint

We are starting to use this on my team at work. I have sent one of my guys on a course to get us moving.

The demand does not seem to be huge at the moment for Sharepoint Portal Server. However, Windows Sharepoint Services (which is pretty much SPS without document taxonomy) looks good and is built into Windows 2003 so expect demand to increase.

Microsoft have also indicated that they are intending the WSS will be the file system of choice in future Windows versions, superseding our good old fashioned hierarchical filing system for documents. They have also indicated that their vision for the web is WSS systems and web parts.

Good or bad? You decide... (depends on the style of footwear you prefer)
