Smile Web analysis?

Given all that is already available, one hesitates to ask for more! I just wonder, however, whether Analog and/or Webalyser, Relax and/or Report magic is possible? (Here I duck for cover, in cse it has been here all the time and I haven't discovered it.

I cannot praise you good people enough for all the help over a little local difficulty.

Robert

That could be a possibility running Analog at server end during the early hours and generating stats with use of log files. However, this could and would take a lot of processing which could disrupt the server. Plus the fact, since Catalyst2 have customers from all over the world, it is unlikely a compromise could be met between everyone. I doubt it would be viable in such a single server environment.

What's wrong with downloading and analysing stats yourself anyway?

Well, (a) I don't know how to do this, and
(b) other hosts provide this service, hence my query.

But if, as you say, this might disrupt the servers, then I agree it is best left alone!

1) Download Analog

2) Download the log files

3) Change a couple of lines in the analog config file

4) Run the analogue executable and the stats are generated into html files

That's about all you have to do.

Question Analog

What's analog?

I guess a web trends type thing?

Is it a freebie (and if so, where can I get it?)

Cheers
