Getting a domain onto my VPS

Hi there

Finally got my VPS up and running!
I've got a load of the services i want running now, including (i think) BIND running as it should be.

Although, i'm trying to re-delegate one of my domains which i want to configure as the "master" domain on this server - it's outg.net and i want to set it up so that the name of the server is zinc.outg.net, and the nameservers are ns1.outg.net and ns2.outg.net etc. Then when i register more domains in the future i will use these NS' as the nameservers for new domains, so i have full control over them.

The only thing is, what should i put as the domain servers in the meantime so i can transfer zone control to the server? Obviously if i put ns1.outg.net etc, it fails as these dont exist yet!

I admit i'm quite new to DNS (a fellow admin always sorted it on our last server) but any suggestions are welcome.

We can host dns records for 1 or two domains, open a ticket with the domain(s) and the records you need, then ill get them setup.

I have since learned about the existence of "glue records" which the registrar is supposed to set up on your behalf.. So for example when specifying the nameservers and IPs upon registering the domain, i'd have DNS records placed on the .net TLD nameserver that tells people what the nameserver IPs are for my domain. Ahh the simple things..
