Are there any performance enhancements to be achieved with hdparm?

Hello,

I've been using hdparm to tune the harddisks on a few racks i've got (not with Catalyst2) and achieved some good results. Would any of this be applicable to VPS servers with Catalyst2?

I suspect not as they're "virtual" filesystems but any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Gareth

hdparm is applicable only to physical disks, the ubd virtual disks are unaffected.
