VPS info

Hi all

Im thinking of signing up for a vps

Im currently on a shared host, that is not reliable, and assume VPS is a big step up

Question- if I get a VPS with Cpanel, do i have to install modules etc.. esp. at command line, ie. to set up my pop3, mysql accounts

Thanks

Keith

Hi,

Please be aware that the only VPSes we can supply with cPanel are VPS3 and above.

A VPS is a big step up from shared hosting, as it means you have to manage a server rather than just a site.

You can still control things by using a web interface (WHM/cPanel if cPanel has been installed).

If you are interested in a web interface on a lower plan than VPS3, then I suggest checking out Webmin, it can be found at http://www.webmin.com and is very easy to install.
