ASP.NET MVC hosting

Do Catalyst2 support ASP.NET MVC hosting? Are the Catalyst2 web servers running IIS7 or are they still running IIS6. I believe that MVC works best on IIS7.

Thanks,
Ben

Catalyst2 servers are currently running IIS6.

Microsoft MVC is supported.

Ben,

Jason is correct We will be offering w2k8 IIS7 hosting in the near future along with some big performance improvements on our shared hosting platform.

So will MVC work without the URLs having a .mvc extension?

ASP.NET MVC on IIS 6 Walkthrough

I guess I'm asking if the wildcard mapping is turned on.

It's great to know that IIS7 hosting is coming soon.

Due to the fact that there are many different technologies being used on the servers by default the wild card mapping is not pointed to asp.net. However if you created a support ticket, this could easily be arranged.

We are essentially waiting on cPanel releasing their new windows control panel from RC unfortunately, hopefully won't be too long, we are all ready to go apart from that!
